FAL A New Year And Mini Roundup

Last year was still quite a productive one, considering the extra person we welcomed to our family, and my FAL dropped down to 10 by the end of the year.  I started last year at 18, and 8 of those are still outstanding, so still some work to do then, and I have managed to add a few on, over the last few weeks, so here goes with the FAL for 2015:

1. Hexy 2 Started: December 2013.
Current Status:  Widening it slightly, just 4 rows, and the top will be finished.
Plan: No fixed deadline for finish, but would like to finish by the summer time.

Current Status: Taken back apart.  Reduce size of the base, re-sew together and then fix the lining

  1. Great plans but I think that you may need to give up sleep to get them all done. Di x

  2. Gosh, you started Hexy 2 only last month? That's a whole lot of progress.

  3. OMG I remember those star blocks!! Looking at this post just reminds me how much I missed in 2014 - sorry! In fact I've got one half cut out New Baby gift on my WIP list, sorry little Miss Alex :-( 2015 is the year I'm going to try and keep in touch with friends more, lets face it I can't get any worse!

Good luck with the list - its huge!

  4. Ange will you get that weekender bag finished please!!?!

  5. It sounds like you're not in love with making the weekender bag , it looks lovely though.
Lots of pretty projects to get done.

  6. Ilove the house quilt - it looks fab!! And the cross medallion is going to be amazing. My eye was obviously drawn to these two but a great list of projects - good luck!

  7. That's quite a list but if you give yourself the whole year I have no doubt you'll finish and have a tidy house too.

  8. Wow - you are one busy stitcher! I love the weekender - I made one for my mother years and years ago and would so like to make a patchy one like yours for myself. Never enough hours! Good luck with your finishes this yea.

I love hearing your comments, so go ahead, say something, it really makes my day.......
