Right guys, short and sweet post as I'm not really here, for April I will be giving away a copy of A Bag For All Reasons by Lisa Lam, from the lovely guys at Stitch, Craft, Create :o)
The basic rules are the same, make something from a book, preferably crafty, and I will randomly pick a winner at the end of April. The full rules/details are here, but for 3 chances to win, do the following:
1. Add a link in comments with your blog post in that month for a book/magazine made project, something crafty, embroidered, sewn, or quilted- mention this competition, and link back to my blog please.
2. For an extra entry, be a follower (you must have linked up a project), and tell me your "on screen" name
3. And for a 3rd entry, how about telling me your best sewing advice or tip
Feel free to comment below, even if it's not an entry, no problem, and I will ignore you when it comes to picking a winner :o)

I'll go first! And second, and third, and fourth...

ReplyDeleteSewing tip: always, always lower your needle into your fabric whilst holding the thread before beginning to sew. saves hours rethreading the needle...

I'm of course one of your loyal followers :D
ReplyDeleteAnd a little advice from me would be, to take your time making a project. If you rush you will make mistakes and that takes up more time in the end, than if you're patient from the beginning. So, I really need to know that I have enough time for a project, if I know it needs to be rushed it's no fun anymore.
ReplyDeleteI'm in awe of Wendy!!

ReplyDeleteMy best piece of sewing advice is to NOT sew when you are tired, that is when the worst mistakes happen and when I am least able to cope with them!
